Picnic Basket

I've seen quite a few picnic baskets but this one is different. It's quite well made, very sturdy and with a unique shape.

Sadly, the interior material of this basket is quite soiled and will need to be torn out and replaced. As well, the latch is missing.

Retro Floor Lamp

I had never seen anything like this before and wasn't even sure I was going to pick it up, but in the end just stuffed it into the van with the other night's collections because it was so unique and I loved the lines. I have since discovered that it is a Danish modern floor lamp with a small built-in table. I'm not positive, but I think it is made of teak. The piece rests on top of three swooping legs with a square tabletop perfect for resting a book or cup. This is a vintage item from the 1960s.

Dimensions: 41cm wide x 41cm deep x 124cm tall (16" x 16" x 49").
The piece itself is in excellent condition, however I have to rewire the lamp and add an appropriate shade. This identical completed item sold on Etsy for over $200. Similar items sell for $150 - $500.

IKEA Luns Messageboard

This IKEA message board is perfect for leaving messages and storing mail. The chalkboard is magnetic so paper messages can also be posted in addition to writing ones with chalk. The chalk trays are removable for easy cleaning. This site gives more specifics. Hooks on underside not included.

The top corner was loose but I glued it. This item sells for $20 new.

Steamer Trunk

I always wanted one of these. Unfortunately, I no longer have room for one. This green and black steamer trunk is probably from the 1950s or 1960s. It was made by Vacatiner in Petersburg, Virginia.

Pier 1 Import Wine Rack

This was gifted to The Ugly Duckling and I am passing it on. The wood is lovely, although the metal is rusty and will need cleaning. I love the fact that you can stack them to make one great wine rack or dismantle them to use separately on shelves.
